Under the Weather

Welcome to another blog entry about a day in my life. I am still under the weather today so I stayed home and on the couch. I feel like I am trying to come down with something so trying to rest up.

I ended up getting out of bed around noon to get a protein shake and my morning routine. I still have a low grade fever, bad headache and nausea so going out did not sound like a winning idea. Figured I better stay close to home in case of an emergency.

So I spent most of the day working on the website, doing some virtual socializing and returning email and calls. So I have finally caught everything up until the next group show up. But I prefer handling everything myself for as long as I can to give the personal touch.

I did get an email from someone having trouble with Social Security because they had tried to go back to work due to medical costs. Now I am not up on the latest Social Security requirements and restrictions so I forward information I received back from my contact. To sum up the responses I received you should contact your case manager, local Legal AID Service if you are PLWHA or local AIDS Service Organization for more details.

I also heard from an old childhood friend. We grew up in church together. Her dad was the music director and my mom sang in the choir then ran the children's department. Told her about Mom passing six years ago and asked about her family. So waiting back to see how they are. It is funny how you can lose contact with someone for thirty years but remember everything about knowing each other even though it was long ago. But then I knew Sulu and Dalton probably the best of any of the kids in our youth group.

Tomorrow will be a busy day with errands, meetings and POZ Radio at 2pm. So I am going to try and get to bed early this evening and it will be Hump Day when I wake up and hopefully feel better.

How is your week going so far? Drop me a line and let me know.

Wishing you health, hope and happiness.

Big bear hug,

Daddy Dab
