Fashion Against AIDS

Welcome to another day in my life. Today is Saturday and I hope you had a safe and great week. This has been a very busy and stressful week for Dab the AIDS Bear and me. We have been caring for my partner Todd who has been very sick again. He will probably be going back in the hospital at any time now.

H&M is set to launch its fifth Fashion Against Aids (FAA) collection to show their support for the various HIV and AIDS charities that promote the message of safe sex among youths. FAA will be donating 25% of all sales to a variety of international HIV and AIDS charities, including Designers Against Aids, MTVís Staying Alive Foundation, United Nations Population Fund, and YouthAids. From African trims to Maori prints to folklore Inuit designs from Greenland, these prints have been inspired by the countries that the AIDS epidemic has hit the hardest. The collection will be available in about 300 H&M Divided departments and online from the 26th April.

In conjunction with FAA, H&M has also launched its micro-site Make out for a Good cause. For each picture uploaded onto the micro-site, H&M will donate $1 to HIV/AIDS awareness projects!

You can see the pic I posted of Todd and I kissing on our anniversary on Fort Lauderdale Beach, Florida this past year.

I hope you will post your own picture and help raise money for HIV/AIDS organizations.

Hope you have a great weekend.

big bear hug,

Daddy Dab
