Up, Up & Away

Welcome to another day in my life. Today is Saturday and I hope you are having a great start to your weekend as I am having.

It is beautiful weather with a ton of sunshine, nice temperatures and a gentle breeze. Although I am still having some sinus issues from the pollen, it is still close to a perfect day outside at least as far as I am concerned.

Now anyone who has known me for very long knows I love to travel. Otherwise, I would not be very good at what I like to do for a living which is activism and advocacy. I enjoy the networking, rubbing elbows, airports, hotels and meeting new people. But how do I get to these places. Some times I use a travel agent, some times travel is arranged for me and some times I do it myself on the internet.

For those of you who would like someone else to take care of your travel arrangements, I have a great new contact for you. Her name is Gloria Roldan. Her company is called Cruise Planners. My favorite way to travel! I met Gloria at a health fair and instantly hit it off. She is a GLBT and HIV friendly person who does not believe in discrimination. You can reach Gloria by email at: Gloria@YourCruiseShop.com or by calling 1-866-860-8656. Call her and give her a try. Tell her Daddy Dab sent you. They even feature cruises with my favorite cruise line Celebrity!

After my morning protein shake, it was time for a quick abs workout. Then I needed to jump in to catch up the project emails, networking and calls. At least people are in contact so it could always be worse and like I have said I like doing it myself to see what people are asking or saying.

We spent the day getting things done around the house inside and outside. Now the freezes are finally over for the year, Gary took care of the dead shrubbery and plants outside and cut back some others. The house looks okay and the dogs look great after their recent grooming.

Now this next week is AIDSWatch 2009 in Washington DC where HIV/AIDS activists will be meeting with your elected officials concerning HIV/AIDS care, funding, prevention and other issues. So this next week you can expect a lot of updates as far as new developments or any big news. So stay tuned for further developments.

Remember to enjoy your Sunday and make a special memory for yourself. It does not matter what the memory is about... just make one for yourself.

Wishing you health, hope and happiness.

Big bear hug,

Daddy Dab
