A Housewarming Party
Thanks for stopping by to see what is going on in another day of my life. Today is Sunday and another beautiful day outside in northern Florida. I hope you are having a safe and great weekend so far.
It is very bright and sunny with temperatures headed toward 82 with a very slight breeze. For me to consider this a perfect day, I would want it to be about ten degrees cooler but still a very nice day.
I had a lot of correspondence to catch up on today. The week can get so busy that I have to use the weekends to get caught up. But I would rather have that problem then no contact so I am not complaining. I would like to thank everyone for all the great emails you send in to the project. Many of you share either your own story or how you became infected. Others share stories about their loved ones living or past. Know I read every single one of them and respond almost always. While I was taking care of this, Gary was working in our courtyard clearing away the leftovers from winter and our recent high winds.
Gary and I went to Golden Corral for a quick and easy buffet. Then we stopped by WalMart to get Nathaniel a gift for his housewarming gift. I have not seen the place in person just on video so I figured a gift card gives him the luxury of picking out exactly what he would like instead of having to return something. I know how picky I am and actually prefer gift cards if someone is not sure about my tastes. So I hope he likes it.
Then we came home and rested before having to get ready to leave for Nathaniel's house. Luckily he only lives about twenty minutes from our house and I had googled directions for us. He had quite a crowd in attendance and it is always great seeing his mother. Kissie was also there from NFAN. There was a ton of food but my stomach was not feeling very good so I did not eat much. Gary enjoyed the shrimp cocktail and other goodies. I must say I was quite impressed with the excellent re-decorating job Nathaniel did on the house. It was very nice and perfect for one person with a huge back yard for dogs. After a couple of hours it was time to head back home for the night.
We watched some television and then tried to go to bed. Unfortunately my stomach was still cramping and ending up keeping me up most of the night. But even considering the stomach problems, it was a great weekend with some beautiful weather. I hope you had a great one also.
Wishing you health, hope and happiness.
