Dab the AIDS Bear at the Los Angeles AIDS Candle Light March
Thanks to Kengi Carr, our Ambassador of Hope, for representing Dab the AIDS Bear Project at the march and all he does our HIV/AIDS community.
The march was held because of huge funding cuts in California's HIV/AIDS funding. I urge all of you to please contact the Governor, Senators and Representatives to urge them not to cut HIV/AIDS funding.

I was at the first AIDS Candle Light March on May 2, 1983 in San Francisco. Tears streaming down my face as I marched side by side with my brothers, I had already buried one partner because of AIDS. Before the new life saving anti-HIV medications were approved in 1996; I had held over 5,000 men, women and children as they died from complications due to AIDS.
If we do not speak up for people with HIV regardless of what state they reside, we will be marching because of the needless deaths of our brothers and sisters.
The lives of Californian men, women and children with HIV and AIDS depend on you contacting these officials so please join Dab the AIDS Bear and contact these officials today.
Have a great weekend.
