Twas the Night Before Christmas

Welcome to another day in my life. Today is Friday and the day before Christmas. I hope you are having a safe and great week so far. This has been another busy week for Dab the AIDS Bear and me as we get ready for Christmas Day.

Now all of our Teddy Bear Touchdowns are done for the year. We had 31 parties for children with HIV and AIDS around the world helping almost 60,000 children. Thanks to all of our donors, volunteers and the organizations who make the events possible.

I had a wonderful god-daughter named Candace who was one of the first children born with HIV in the United States. Every Christmas eve, I would read her the poem, Twas the Night Before Christmas. Unfortunately, Candace passed at age 5 in 1989 because we did not have life saving HIV medications then.

So in her memory on the 21st year of her passing, please enjoy the following:

And remember to tell those special ones in your life you love them. You never know when you won't get another chance.

Wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

big bear hug,

Daddy Dab and Dab the AIDS Bear
