Congratulations Joni and Kevin!

Welcome to another day in my life. I hope you are having a great weekend so far.

We are in the middle of another cold front here in north Florida so we are having freezing temperatures at night and highs in the 50s and low 60s during the day. While having sunshine helps keep you warm while you are standing in it, we could really use some rain since we have not had any significant amount in almost a month.

I started off my day with my morning protein shake and working out chest and triceps. I am not up to three sets of each exercise and five exercises per body part. Since I recently upped to three sets, I am feeling sore when I wake up the next morning which is a good thing. It means my body is not getting used to the weight amount or number of sets and will continue to grow as I work to get back in the shape I was in before my last stroke. More details coming as they develop.

Then it was time to get ready for a friend's wedding. Joni works with Gary at Sun Battery but I had never met her fiance. They had the ceremony and reception at a beautiful location not far from my house. Several of the employees I have met at Sun Battery were at the ceremony. I must admit I was awed by how beautiful Joni looked in her dress. Now usually I see Joni, who works in shipping, when she is hot, sweaty, tired with no makeup at the end of the day. I always knew she had classic beauty but she really wowed the crowd as she walked down the aisle in her dress. Everyone was saying how beautiful she looked.

After arriving at the rose and ivy covered arch, you could see both of them beaming with the love they have for each other. After finishing their vows, the groom and bride gave roses to their new mother-in-laws. Then everyone was instructed to the beverage and appetizers while the staff prepared the tables for a sit down dinner. Then it was time to introduce the entire wedding party followed by the dances between family members which was very touching.

After entering the building for the buffet line, I saw a great spread of roast beef, chicken, potatoes and a choice of vegetables. Everything tasted great which from me is a huge compliment since I am very picky especially about the meats I will eat. After dinner, Joni and Kevin cut their gorgeous wedding cake. By this time, I was getting very tired so Gary and I left around 7:30pm for the short drive home after stopping at Walgreens for a couple of items.

So the day turned out to be a great one. How about you? I hope you are having a safe and great weekend.

Wishing you health, hope and happiness.

Big bear hug,

Daddy Dab
