Hope that all of you are having a great weekend! It's been a low key weekend for me. Been having problems with intense headaches again so I've been sticking close to home and sleeping a lot.
I did catch the Jacksonville Jaguars/New England Patriots game. Now I will be honest and say even though I root for our home town team; I would have been surprised if we had beaten a team with a perfect record this past year.
We ended up losing 31 - 20.
The Patriots took the lead during the third quarter with the Jags only scoring 3 points and never looked back. Brady has had an amazing year breaking one record after another. Brady had already been named the MVP and offensive player of the year. It will be interesting to see who they will play next.
Last season, the Patriots lost to Indianapolis in the AFC title game, 38-34, after squandering an 18-point lead. They could meet again. New England will be host next Sunday at Gillette Stadium to the winner of Sunday's game between San Diego and Indianapolis. The Patriots beat both this season.
I am currently watching the San Diego/Indianapolis game. It's still in the 2nd quarter and Indianapolis is winning 10/7 with 3 minutes left.
We're expecting another cold front to come through some time tonight. I've really been enjoying our "Florida winter" with the highs in the low 70s for the past several days. I guess that's why I prefer living in the lower half of the country... I never have to worry about digging my butt out of the sunshine! LOL
Finishing up this entry before bedtime. The San Diego Chargers ended up winning. Then last night, our old Jag coach Caughlin ended up winning with the NY Giants. Next the Giants will go up against the Packers.
Hope that all of you had a safe and great weekend! Wishing you health, hope and happiness.
Big bear hug,
