Emergency ADAP Summit Review

Welcome to another day in my life. Today is Monday and I hope you had a safe and great weekend. It was a very busy, great and exhausting weekend for Dab the AIDS Bear and me.

We were busy all weekend at the Emergency ADAP Summit which was hosted by Brandon Macsata and the ADAP Advocacy Association in Fort Lauderdale Beach, Florida at the Westin Hotel. The summit started very early Saturday morning and it was great as always to see Brandon and the rest of our nationally and locally activist friends.

We had several great speaking from around the country including Michael Weinstein, Tom Liberti, Joey Wynn, Jesse Frye, Larry Bryant, Christine Campbell and many others who were updating us with the latest information on the ADAP situation around the country.

Of course, it will not be a meeting of our national diverse activists without a little drama and a couple of grand standing moves by certain individuals. But I would rather focus on the positive aspects and all of us working together to help our community.

You can see a slide show featuring pictures from the event below:

I hope you enjoyed the slide show. There is so much work to do and elected officials to contact so we can ensure all Americans with HIV and AIDS get their life saving HIV medications. So stay tuned for further messages on how you can help.

I would like to take this opportunity to not only thank Brandon Macsata and ADAP Advocacy Association for hosting a great summit but for also being a great support of Dab the AIDS Bear and our project.

I hope you have a safe and great week. Drop me a line and let me know how your weekend went and what you did. Until we meet again; here's wishing you health, hope, happiness and just enough.

big bear hug,

Daddy Dab
