Heading Back to South Florida
Welcome to another day in my life. Today is Saturday and I hope you are having a great weekend so far. It is still incredibly cold in most parts of the United States and even here in Florida.
I had to be up early today to get everything ready to head back to Ft. Lauderdale area. After the long and exhausting week in Jacksonville, I was ready to head back to where at least the temperature is a little above freezing. The colder it is the harder it is for me to breathe and the worse my neuropathy hurts in my legs and arms. Not to mention the problems and arthritis in the discs of my back.
Even though it will be very crowded in my very small place in Ft. Lauderdale, I am glad to be finally starting this next chapter in my life. The past few months have been very hard for several reasons in Jacksonville. While I will miss many of my great friends there; it is time for this next chapter. I am hoping to get to see most of them when I am back in Jacksonville during the first week of February.
Now it is time to get ready for the drive and I will try to write more later tonight after I get back.
But just in case I am too tired, I wanted to wish all of you a great day.
Made it into Ft. Lauderdale safe and sound. It is late and I am very tired so I am heading to bed soon. The drive down was long because it was either hailing or raining almost the entire seven hour drive. At one point, I even thought I saw a couple of snowflakes. Glad the other trips were not under such horrible conditions.
But wanted to let all of you know I had made it safely with the dogs. It is still cold even down in south Florida but at least it is just above freezing which is 15 degrees warmer than it was in Jacksonville.
Hope all of you have a great Sunday.
Until we meet again; here's wishing you health, hope and happiness.
big bear hug,
