Dab the AIDS Bear at the White House
Welcome to another day in my life. Today is Tuesday and I hope your week is off to a safe and great start. It is another busy day for Dab the AIDS Bear and I.
Dab the AIDS Bear is in Washington, DC where the President will be announcing our National HIV/AIDS strategy. At 2PM Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius & White House officials will unveil Obama Administration's National HIV/AIDS Strategy. Watch the presentation of the plan online @ WhiteHouse.gov/live at 2 PM.
Then there is the AHF Press Conference at 330pm at the National Press Club. Our Ambassador of Hope Brandon Macsata will be one of the people speaking.
At 6PM, President Barack Obama will deliver remarks at a White House reception honoring the HIV/AIDS Community. The President's address can also be viewed online at WhiteHouse.gov/live.
The Strategy, Federal Implementation Plan and Presidential Memo are available on following URL’s:
I will be doing a blog tomorrow about my feelings on these issues. I will warn you in advance some will be positive and some will be negative. I am not impressed with everything I have been reading although at least we will finally have some type of national plan for HIV and AIDS.
Need to get running but wanted to let everyone know what is going on with us today.
Hope you are having a great one. Drop me a line and let me know what is going on in your life.
Until we meet again; here's wishing you health, hope, happiness and just enough.
big bear hug,
