YMCA BABES Retreat 2010
Welcome to another day in my life. Today is Friday and I hope you have had a safe and great week like Dab the AIDS Bear and I have had. We have almost made it through another work week although this weekend will also be extremely busy.
This morning, it was time to get up and head to the gym for leg and shoulder day. Although I have not mention my workouts in my blog for awhile, I am still working out six days a week. My body is almost back to where it was before I had the stroke last year while makes me happy. While I am not trying to be as large and muscular as I was when I was younger, I would like to keep everything solid and not sagging. LOL.
At noon today, there was an ADAP demonstration in Fort Lauderdale because of the Florida ADAP Waiting Lists. Dab the AIDS Bear was in attendance with a small crowd and I should have the pictures ready to post in my blog in a couple of days.
Speaking of pics, I just finished the slide show from the YMCA BABES Retreat which happened recently in Washington state. Many thanks to our Ambassador of Hope Shelley Franklin for representing Dab the AIDS Bear at the event. BABES is an organization which empowers women on issues of HIV and AIDS. I hope you enjoy the slide show:
Now Dab the AIDS Bear and I are headed off for our weekend adventure to the AIDS Walk in San Francisco. Our Ambassadors of Hope Larry Bryant, Stephen Bailous and Olivia Ford will also be traveling with their Dab the AIDS Bear to the International HIV/AIDS Conference in Vienna and taking pictures.
So until we meet again; here's wishing you health, hope, happiness and just enough.
big bear hug,
