Bartenders, Boxers and Briefs 2011
Welcome to another day in my life. Today is Tuesday and I hope your week is off to a safe and great start. It is another busy week for Dab the AIDS Bear and me.
Today, we have an appointment with Dr. Schumann of AHF Northpoint Clinic when we will be getting the results from our latest blood work. Hopefully, everything will be good as usual with the tcell count being stable and our viral load as undetectable. Since I almost never miss my HIV medications, my counts usually stay about the same unless I have an infection or bad cold.
Last night, Dab the AIDS Bear were the unofficial mascot for the Bartenders, Boxers and Briefs fund raiser for Tuesday's Angels at Bill's Filling Station in Wilton Manors, Florida. Everyone had a great time as always. We are very thankful to everyone for doing a great job raising the donations for the great work that Tuesday's Angels does for our local HIV/AIDS community.
We would also like to thank the local bartenders and everyone who attended for showing Dab the AIDS Bear so much love and hospitality. Unfortunately due to technical difficulties, I will not be featuring pictures from the events because of camera malfunction. After taking over 350,000 pictures with my old Digital SLR, the camera is finally done its last pic. Found out it would cost as much to repair as it will to just get a new one.
Thanks again to everyone who participated including the owners of Bill's Filling Station. So next time you are in the Wilton Manors area, be sure you stop in to thank the owners for supporting our local HIV/AIDS community and organizations.
Hope you have a great Tuesday. The bear and I are off and running for our next events.
Until we meet again; here's wishing you health, hope, happiness and just enough.
big bear hug,
