Welcome to another day in my life. Today is Monday and it is also Independence Day in the United States. I hope you have been having a safe and great July 4th weekend! It has been another busy one for Dab the AIDS Bear and me.
This past weekend, Dab the AIDS Bear was at London Pride in London, England among other places. The people in London are always so great to the bear showing us a ton of love and hospitality. You can see the pictures from London Pride in the slide show below:
Hope you enjoyed the pictures from London Pride. Thanks to all of our Ambassadors of Hope and friends in London for their continued help, love, support and hospitality. You folks are the best!
Now the bear and I are off to Washington, DC this morning to celebrate the fireworks at the National Mall and White House. Then we will be at the ADAP Summit all week while also visiting our Senators and House of Representatives concerning ADAP and other Ryan White funding.
So please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we attempt to get more funding so that no Americans have to be on waiting lists for life saving anti-HIV medications. It is going to be an uphill battle considering the current climate in DC.
We will also be presented with the ADAP Champion of the Year award by the ADAP Advocacy Association on Wednesday night. So stay tuned for future pictures and slide shows from all the events during the next week.
Hope you have a very safe and Happy 4th of July! Until we meet again; here's wishing you health, hope, happiness and just enough.
