Last Look at Ft. Lauderdale Stonewall Festival

Welcome to another day in my life. Today is Thursday and I hope you are having a safe and great week so far. Dab the AIDS Bear and I are enjoying another very busy week and getting ready for another adventure this coming weekend.

Today, the Fusion Quilters met again to work on the AIDS Quilt panel. It is really coming together and looking better every week. There are several people working really hard to do a great job. We are hoping to have the panel finished before the United States Conference on AIDS in September which is in Orlando, Florida.

Yesterday, I featured the first slide show about our recent Stonewall Festival. The festival is our second "pride" event for the year and as in most cities had a huge turnout. I hope you enjoy the last of the shots featuring Dab the AIDS Bear and our friends at the event:

It was a great time even though the heat and humidity was very hard to deal with at times. Luckily, I live close enough to the festival to take breaks at home in the cool air conditioned air.

Well, it is movie night at Fusion. So I am going to finish up this blog entry. Dab the AIDS Bear and I are headed out the door on our next adventure to see friends.

Until we meet again; here's wishing you health, hope, happiness and just enough.

big bear hug,

Daddy Dab
