The 17 Worst Cities in the World
Part 2

Welcome to another day in my life. Today is Monday and I hope you had a beary safe and great weekend. Dab the AIDS Bear was finishing up a second Pride event yesterday before heading back home.

Because of traveling around the world to speak at events, we have been to almost every major country except Russia. So we know the good, the bad and the ugly. But the following are the 17 worst cities in my opinion which I started about blogging yesterday.

Caracas, Venezuela
This beautiful city is located in a valley near the Caribbean Sea. It sounds idyllic, yet it is far from that. As a powerful drug trafficking city, Caracas has high crime rates and a police force that has little power to change that.

Cape Town, South Africa
Donít let this highly popular and stunning city fool you. Due to strife between socioeconomic classes, Cape Town has high crime rates, rendering it very dangerous, especially for women.

Guatemala City, Guatemala
Another beautiful locale that stresses tourists use only transportation and tours booked through its hotels. The rates of robberies, gang activity and kidnappings have gone down, but these occurrences are still prominent within the city.

San Pedro Sula, Honduras
This exotic city may just be one of the most violent. Murders sparked by gangs occur frequently. Death squads run many areas of the city. For many locals, crime is their only option if they want to survive.

Acapulco, Mexico
This picture perfect city is a touristís dream Ė at least until they realize theyíre in a highly violent city that boasts 142 killings per 100,000 people. While government officials are attempting to reduce that number, crime and violence remain a problem.

Cali, Columbia
Situated at the base of a mountain, Cali appears to be a beautiful city with a hopping nightlife. This isnít the case. While its theft rates have dropped, Cali still has the 6th highest murder rate in the world. Not exactly ideal for a visit.

Kabul, Afghanistan
Itís no mystery that Kabul is likely the most dangerous city in the world. Bomb attacks and the Taliban are two excellent reasons to never visit here ó at least not until all the strife in the Middle East clears up.

Hope you have a beary safe and great start to your week.

Until we meet again; here's wishing you health, hope, happiness and just enough.

big bear hug,

Daddy Dab
