Thanks for the Help
Welcome to another entry about my life. It's HUMP DAY! We have made it halfway through another work week!
I had my morning protein shake and then did a shoulder and forearm workout. I am still getting back into the swing of things with my workouts after a month's break. So right now I am only do two sets of each exercise with at least four different exercises per muscle group. I am starting to get my muscle pump back which feels really great.
Then it was time to get a shower, get dressed and run some errands. I had to UPS some of our Dab the AIDS Bears to donors and a couple of our new Ambassadors of Hope. Then I stopped by Publix to get some food for Gary and I to use for the rest of the week. Then I stopped by the dry cleaners to drop off my black suit and a couple of dress shirts. After getting back home and putting away the groceries, I took the dogs outside while I got some sun in my speedo. Thank God we have our concert privacy wall where I can just be by myself. It is a great stress reliever for me.
Then it was time to go get Gary and head to LSS for our men's support group. We had a great group tonight with about 14 guys showing up. We also had a new member I know from our community. He lost his partner of 28 years about a year ago and I know how rough that can be so I invited him to our group. I hope he had a great time.
Came home and had some dinner. Then it was time to watch So You Think You Can Dance. They are in Las Vegas and still choosing the cast for this year's competition. But I can already tell it is going to be a great season because of all the fantastic talent these kids in the finals have. This show is one of my few guilty pleasures besides Ugly Betty, Ellen DeGeneres and Kathy Griffin.
Heading to bed now. Have a long day tomorrow but I get to see a great friend, Butch McKay, who is coming in town from Ft. Walton Beach for a meeting.
Wishing you health, hope and happiness.
Big bear hug,
