Welcome to the weekend! Hope you had a great Saturday!

As you know if you read my daily entries, I currently have the stomach flu so life has been close to home and very sedate lately. I started feeling sick last Monday and the stomach cramps and nausea are still here today. At least I do not feel like I am still running a fever. Hopefully, I will be up and about again in the next few days. I just have absolutely no energy to get anything accomplished except climbing back into bed and sleeping. At least Gary seems to be feeling better.

When I woke up today around 11am, Gary had left a note that he was going shopping at Roosevelt Mall and he would be back soon. So I sat on the couch with the pets while I slowly woke up to my morning while half dreading the part when my stomach wakes up again. Sure enough within ten minutes, the stomach cramps were back in full force. Gary ended up getting home about thirty minutes later from his excursion. Gary likes getting whatever running around he needs to do early in the morning before the heat of the day gets here. He hates the heat and humidity even more than I do. Gary ended up getting some plaid Timberland cargo shorts and screen printed T-shirt from Steinmart. Turns out the cargo shorts are missing a button but he should have tried them on before buying them. Now he will have to make another trip to get a button or switch them out for another pair.

Today, Senator Hillary Clinton gave her concession speech during a party given in Washington, DC that she threw for her supporters. I had received an invitation to the event but because of this stupid stomach flu was unable to attend unfortunately. To listen to her speech, click on the YouTube clip below. It will be interesting to see how and if the Democratic party can be brought back together after this very heated Democratic primaries. The news clips have shown there is an obvious parts of the Clinton supporters who are threating not to vote if Hillary isn't added to the ticket as the vice-presidential candidate. So stay tuned to see how the Democratic party can crush their chances of winning another election. Details on the 6 o'clock news.

At least the weather was gorgeous today even thought the temperatures are still in the 90s. It was slightly cloudy and sunny all day. I spent almost all day inside so even if it had been a scorcher I would not have known it except that the air conditioning unit would be running constantly. But Gary said it was a beautiful day when he went out earlier.

We ended up ordering delivery Chinese from the place up in 5 points. My stomach is still upset so all I am going to eat is vegetable lo mein noodles. I need to get something solid inside me so I do not lose any more weight. If anything I need to be working on putting ten pounds back on this body. My right arm is still healing so I am still not working out at this time. Hopefully that will be changing after my next doctor visit in July. I just don't want to further injure those tendons and have to be out with an injury even longer. I guess it is better to be safe than sorry.

Gary ended up going to bed early. I ended up watching a couple of comediennes on Comedy Central until around 2am and now I am headed off to bed also.

I hope you are having a great weekend and you accomplish everything you set out to do during it. Wishing you health, hope and happiness.

Big bear hug,

Daddy Dab
