Hillary Should Run in 2016

Welcome to another day in my life. Today is Saturday and I hope your weekend is off to a safe and great start. It is going to be another long weekend for Dab the AIDS Bear and me. There are several events around the world so stay tuned for more pictures and slideshows soon.

I have been speaking with politicians and dealing with elected officials since the early '80s. I must admit I was crushed when Hillary Clinton did not win the Democratic nomination in the last election. So what about this coming presidential election?

The woman who replaced Hillary Clinton in the Senate says the secretary of state should make another run at the presidency. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., told the website BuzzFeed that she was “going to be one of the first to ask Hillary to run in 2016."

"I think she would be incredibly well poised to be our next Democratic president," Gillibrand added.

"I think she is extremely well prepared. I think her experience as secretary of state has not only elevated her stature and experience, but she has proven she is someone who can get things done and I think she wouldd be an outstanding candidate."

For her part, Clinton has not said much about her future, except to assert that she will leave her current Cabinet post after the 2012 elections. However, others have also speculated about a future in elected office.

"I always assume that if people run, they will run again,” former Bill Clinton aide James Carville recently told the Washington Examiner.

So I guess we will have to wait and see what is going to happen. I know I will be keeping my fingers crossed.

Hope you have a safe and great weekend.

Until we meet again; here's wishing you health, hope, happiness and just enough.

big bear hug,

Daddy Dab
