Today is Saturday and I will apologize for missing an entry yesterday. I have several projects going on at once right now so time just seems to be flying by. Still trying to figure out how to squeeze 36 hours into 24. If anyone has beat me to the answer, please let me know.
After a difficult week, I have finally made it to the weekend. I am busy working on an online promotion for National HIV Testing Day so I have been editing clips I filmed last week. This is something I have never done before so there is a big learning curve. But I hope to learn skills I can use in future endeavors so wish me luck.
Speaking of endeavors, I would like to introduce a recent new friend of mine named Kengi Carr. Kengi is an inspiration and newer activist for people with HIV and AIDS and the homeless.
Besides all the work Kengi does in Los Angeles while living homeless with AIDS, cancer and sickle cell; he also finds time to run an online social HIV community site called the Kengi Kat Project and posts videos about living with his conditions and homelessness.
His life is an example of courage, overcoming adversity, conviction of faith and iron will. Kengi is an inspiration to all people regardless of their HIV status.
Below you can view his latest video talking about being homeless and HIV positive:
Truly an amazing man. If you would like to check out Kengi's great project or his other website dedicate to making a difference, click on the links below.
