Welcome to another day in my life. Today is Wednesday and I hope you are having a safe and great week so far. It is beautiful but very hot and humid here in south Florida. It already feels like it is summer time with highs in the upper 90s. You can hardly go outside without starting to sweat. Even the dogs do not like going out for walk between 10am and 3pm. No wonder the snow birds head back north at the end of April.
Last night, I attended a Leadership committee meeting at Fusion. We had a great time and started planning events for the next couple of months along with the bi-monthly magazine. All that is in addition to the events which happen almost nightly at Fusion. There are classes on sign language, connection and Bolt social group meetings. Chat talk and movie night. So Mario is always hoping keeping everyone happy and does a fantastic job.
I know many of you knew Dab the AIDS Bear recently attended AIDSWatch 2010 in Washington, DC recently. Well I finally got the pictures finished and made a slide show. I would like to thank Kengi Carr and Raquel Algarin for their help taking pics at the event this year. They are both on our Ambassadors of Hope team and do a fantastic job.
Here is the slide show of the pics from AIDSWatch 2010:
Everyone was working hard meeting with their elected officials on HIV/AIDS issues, funding and especially the ADAP waiting lists. Now hopefully, our government officials will do something about the problems instead of the status quo and ignoring the problems.
Have another busy day today so going to close for more. Remember to get out there and make a special memory today. Life is not a dress rehearsal.
Until we meet again; here's wishing you health, hope, happiness and just enough.
big bear hug,
