First of all I would like to apologize for getting behind on my daily blog. Thank you for the wonderful emails letting me know that you missed my daily entries. It was a great and pleasant surprise. I'm flattered and amazed that so many people are interested in reading about my life and experiences with HIV and AIDS.
It's been a very busy few days... from speaking at a dear friend's memorial... working with Dividewefail.org in Washington, DC... and now we're helping to opening the new Emergency Food Bank at Lutheran Social Services in the morning. So Daddy's tired! (not like I'm 21 anymore... or anywhere close to it! lol)
But I wouldn't trade what I do now for any amount of money. The personal rewards are greater than any check I could receive. The hugs from the kids... their smile... worth a million buck a piece. And on the rare chance that I help someone with their quality of life, access to services or medications, or a smile in their life... now that's an honor to be able to do.
So while I'll keep this brief since I have a very full day ahead at Lutheran Social Services, I didn't want those of you taking the time to read my blog to fill you in on the past few days.
I would like to thank everyone for their wonderful support and love. It's makes this big ole Daddy bear just swell up with gratitude and appreciation.
Hope that all of you have a safe and very Happy Thanksgiving week!
Big bear hug,
