RedTie Affair

Welcome to another day in my life. Today is Thursday and it is also Veteran's Day. Coming from a military family, I would like to thank everyone in the armed forces past and present for all they do for our country.

This evening, we are having our RedTie Affair in Jacksonville, Florida. The RedTie Affair raises much needed donations for our Teddy Bear Touchdowns for children with HIV and AIDS.

We look forward to seeing you all at the RedTie Affair at Cafe 331 located at 331 W. Forsyth St in downtown Jacksonville. There will be some great items ranging from collectibles to luxurious getaways up for bid in the silent auction. $10 donation at the door. Donate ONLINE at http://www.facebook.com/l/c2e0f83c95heS_wMcNf1Ij6phIw; www.hlpus.com so you do not have to wait in line! (Visa MC AMEX Discover accepted via PayPal).

I would like to thank the time to thank our Board of Director member and Ambassador of Hope William Herndon for all his hard work making the fund raiser a reality. William has work tirelessly to help make sure we have the needed funding to make Christmas special for children with HIV and AIDS.

So stay tuned for a slide show featuring pics from the event in the next few days. I also have pictures from a couple of other events like the Jeans for Life fund raiser in Wilton Manors, Florida to get done when I find some spare time. There was a huge turnout at the Manor for the fund raiser last night. My jeans (along with those from several others) were a huge hit. I was amazed at the creativity of some of the entries. Hopefully, we raised a lot of money for AIDS Healthcare Foundation and Out of the Closet. They also help to sponsor our Teddy Bear Touchdowns for children with HIV and AIDS.

Then Dab the AIDS Bear and I are off to Pensacola, Florida where we will be doing press for and then speaking at their first AIDS Walk on November 20th. I hope all our Gulf Coast friends will come out for the event and get your picture taken with Dab the AIDS Bear in support of people living with HIV and AIDS.

Now it is time for me to get some errands ran. Have so much to do to get ready for our trip to Pensacola.

Hope all of you have a great day. We have almost made it to the end of another work week. Just remember to thank a veteran today for their service to our country.

Until we meet again; here's wishing you health, hope, happiness and just enough.

big bear hug,

Daddy Dab
