Welcome to fall folks!!! It's so great in North Florida right now. You wake up and it's in the 50's and warms up to the low 70s during the day. For me, that is perfect weather!
I spent most of the day on the computer and the telephone finalizing everything for the kids at the Rainbow Clinic. I'm working with an old friend, Kendall, who is now at Rainbow Clinic.
We've been asked to step up our game and help provide a great 10th Anniversary Party for the kids at the Rainbow Clinic. This event happens at the very beginning of World AIDS Week on November 26, 2007.
Now for those of you that haven't known me long... Kids with HIV and AIDS hold a special place in my heart. I used to visit a young kid at National Institute of Health in Bethesda, MD when I when go up there to participate in clinical trial studies. I had met him on one of my trips to NIH from BWI airport.
He was one of those great kids who was always polite and caring. The kind of kid every parent dreams of having. Unfortunately, he died from complications from AIDS in Nov. 2006 shortly after one of my visits. That's why I do this... for kids like him that might not have another holiday season to celebrate... or their families don't have the money for presents because of medical bills. Every child deserves the gift of hope at the holidays.
I hope that any of you reading this will send a teddy bear for my wonderful kids. We are accepting donations until Dec. 16, 2007. You can send them to:

Hope that all of you had a great day!
