November 6, 2010
Palm Springs, California

Welcome to another day in my life. Today is Saturday and I hope your weekend is off to a safe and great start. It is another busy weekend for Dab the AIDS Bear and me.

This weekend, Dab the AIDS Bear is making appearances in Palm Springs, California and Houston, Texas. So stay tuned for upcoming slide shows featuring pictures from the events.

What does it mean to live with HIV? Positively Aware magazine asked that question, and received dozens of responses, creating this photo essay. Positive or negative, we are all affected by HIV. Several pictures included in the layouts included Dab the AIDS Bear and there were two pictures with me in them. You can see the layout at:

We were honored and proud to be asked to be in the layout. Anything we can do to help get out the word about HIV/AIDS awareness, education and prevention while helping those already infected.

Yesterday, we met with the World AIDS Day committee in Broward County at the Broward Performing Arts Center to discuss speaking at their event this year. It is a beautiful location and we are looking forward to speaking at their event. We have also been invited to participate in a Christmas party for kids with HIV and AIDS on December 21, 2010 which we are very excited about doing. Next year, we will be starting our Teddy Bear Touchdown for children affected and effected by HIV and AIDS in Fort Lauderdale.

Now it is time to get running. There are a ton of things to get done and then the appearances this weekend.

I hope you have a safe and great weekend. Until we meet again; here's wishing you health, hope, happiness and just enough.

big bear hug,

Daddy Dab
