AIDS United: Urge Inclusion of HIV & AIDS
Issues in Tonightís VP Debate!

Welcome to another day in my life. Today is Thursday and I hope you are having a beary safe and great week so far. It is another busy week for Dab the AIDS Bear and me.

Tonight is the Vice-Presidential Debate on national television between Joe Biden and Paul Ryan. If you are HIV positive you need to read and follow the directions in this email in order to help people living with HIV and AIDS.

HIV was not addressed in the first Presidential debate!

MORE THAN EVER we need to ensure that Vice President Joe Biden and Congressman Paul Ryan are asked during tonightís vice presidential debate how they will address HIV in the United States.

Letís reach out to moderator Martha Raddatz of ABC News on Twitter TODAY to get her to ask Vice President Joe Biden and Congressman Paul Ryan TONIGHT what their administrations would do to end HIV in the U.S.

Via Twitter:

Use any of these sample tweets in your Twitter feed that contain questions for Martha Raddatz to ask the candidates:

1. @MarthaRaddatz 50% of HIV+ people rely on Medicaid for care; continued care reduces new infections. How will you protect them? #DebateHIV

2. @MarthaRaddatz How will you deploy all the tools necessary to end HIV & ensure healthy lives for those living with HIV/AIDS? #DebateHIV

3. @MarthaRaddatz How will you reduce health disparities, like #HIV, from impacting gay men, women of color, & the poor #DebateHIV

You can also create your own tweet with a personal story, photo, or another compelling statistic. Be sure to send @martharaddatz and include #DebateHIV. Then encourage your friends, colleagues, and family to do the same!

The debate is tonight so do this NOW!

Be sure to stay tuned to Dab the AIDS Bear Projectís Facebook page and Twitter feed for the latest information on how you can make HIV a priority issue in this Presidential election.

Hope you have a beary safe and great day!

Until we meet again; here's wishing you health, hope, happiness and just enough.

big bear hug,

Daddy Dab
