Today was college football day so I took the rare day off to enjoy the games. I know that a lot of people wouldn't enjoy watching football games all day... especially in my community. I guess it's because I was raised in a small southern city was football was king. The city literally closed down on Friday nights for high school football and Pensacola has turned out several pro stars... Emmit Smith for example.
Living in Jacksonville makes you want to automatically root for the Jaguars even though after initial excellent success as a franchise the past few years have been less than stellar. One thing is the team has not found a quarterback that excites the crowd. The other factor is that ticket cost and expenses to see a game now average $100 per person for the "cheap seats". Even people that for years had their yearly tickets have stopped due to ticket price increases.
Hope that all of you had a great Saturday!
