Today is Sunday and all of my friends know what that means:
As usual on Sunday, I got up and started my day. Spent some time with my pets. Bandit the bird came by from his daily feeding. It's amazing how relax the bird is with my three dogs in the back yard. They know to leave the bird alone if they don't want to get in trouble... but I doubt the bird knows that... LOL
I was up late last night working on this website and adding the web clips about HIV and AIDS that we have been given permission to use. I have been thankfully surprised how many companies will always you to use their products after viewing our website. All of you have my eternal thanks for helping to educate and protect the HIV community.
It's been raining on and off since early afternoon. In my hometown of Pensacola, Florida; they had several tornadoes. One was only a couple of miles away from my Dad's house but he's ok. There was major damage to Cordova Mall, cars in the parking lot, 9th ave. traffic and the strip mall across from Cordova Mall.
Another tornado caused damage near the downtown area. This is also part of the historic area of Pensacola. Even though as a gay man, especially one that is HIV+, Pensacola would not be my first choice to have a home. HIV Services and funds are at a minimum and most HIV positive persons end up moving if they have the capability. It's sad because Pensacola is a beautiful small city with great beaches and hospitable locals. Most of my family and some of my friends still live there.
I hope that all of you had a great weekend and I wish you an even better week.
Big bear hug,
