M Project Open House

Welcome to another day in my life. Today is Saturday and I hope your weekend is off to a safe and great start. It is a busy one for Dab the AIDS Bear and myself.

Yesterday, we attended the open house for Project M. Project M have just opened their new offices in Fort Lauderdale. They specialize in helping gay young men from ages 13 - 30 including HIV and AIDS. Robert Plant is their Director and a personal friend of ours.

We were very impressed upon showing up. There were tents outside with refreshments and music. The delicious snack bites were provided by Georgi's Alibi. Everything was absolutely delicious. It was also great seeing not only members from Broward House but also from our local Department of Health.

After the ribbon cutting at 5:30pm, everyone was invited inside to see the fantastic job they did on remodeling the building. The place looks great and should prove to be a huge help in reaching out to young men and preventing the current high numbers of new HIV cases in our area.

Below you can see the pictures with Dab the AIDS Bear and our friends at the event:

It was so great seeing everyone. Afterward, we gave Anthony a ride home so he would not have to take the bus. Then it was time to come home, cook dinner and spend some time with my four legged children.

Have a ton to get done today so I am going to close for now. I hope you have a fantastic Saturday. Until we meet again; here's wishing you health, hope, happiness and just enough.

big bear hug,

Daddy Dab
