Today is one of my favorite days of the year. It's always great to see the kids having a great time wearing their costumes and going trick or treating. It reminds me when my parents would take us as kids. Of course things are a lot different now, I don't know if I would take my child out in the public like we could do or to an organized event where I wouldn't have to worry about the candy they are getting which is sad.
I had our last meeting for the study with Nathaniel at Northeast Florida AIDS Network. Got to say hello to Torrencia who is always got a smile on her face. She makes everyone feel so welcome. After filling out a short exit survey, we were treated to lunch at Wasabi's. Wasabi's is a great restaurant right here in historic Riverside/Avondale where I live so that made it convenient. I'm sorry to see the group end. We had become close of the course of the study. Nathaniel and Donna did a great job. Nathaniel is getting ready to leave for a trip to Palm Springs, California for work.
This evening, Gary and I went down to Park and King where they were having a Halloween Event for the kids. We also went to eat at European Street. The food is still great but it just isn't the same place since Lew was killed in the accident. He was such a great loving giving man.
Hope that all of you had a great Halloween and did get too hurt in the heels and wigs... LOL
Big bear hug,
