Find Your Way Around the Health Care Law
Welcome to another day in my life. Today is Tuesday and I hope you are a having a beary safe and great week so far. It is another busy week for Dab the AIDS Bear and me.
All people need health insurance. You never know when you might have an accident, need emergency care or other health needs. But people living with chronic or possibly fatal illnesses like cancer, HIV, diabetes and others definitely need some type of health insurance to be able to get the health care they need.
Coming up in October, United States citizens who do not already have insurance will have to choose one of the plans made available thru the Affordable Care Act. So today I will blog about finding your way around the health care law.
There's a new, easier way to find a health plan that fits your needs. It is called the Health Insurance Marketplace. It's like a shopping mall for health insurance. And help will be available every step of the way - online, by phone, and in person.
Through the Marketplace, there's financial help available. Depending on your income you may have access
to low-cost or free plans.
Here's how it works. You get to compare plans
side-by-side. Simple language, no guesswork.
All plans will cover the important stuff: doctor visits, emergency and hospital care, prescriptions, and more. Don't forget - everyone will need to have health insurance starting in 2014.

Hope you have a beary safe and great Tuesday!
Until we meet again; here's wishing you health, hope, happiness and just enough.
