Conclusion of the Democratic National Convention

Welcome to another day in my life. Today is Sunday and I hope you are having a safe and great weekend so far. It is another busy weekend for Dab the AIDS Bear as the bear is at four different events in different places this weekend. So stay tuned for new slide show featuring pictures from the events very soon.

The other evening, it was the last evening of the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina. The first two nights had gone so fantastic, most people could not wait to see what was going to happen on the last evening of the event.

They started off the evening having Gabrielle Giffords give the pledge of allegiance which moved me to tears. You can see the video here:

Then it was time for several speakers including Vice President Joe Biden. You can see his speech here:

Which was then followed by the acceptance of the nomination for President by our current President Barak Obama. You can see his speech here:

Now the conventions are over and the race to the election will carry on for the next two months. I am sure there is going to be so many ads on television that we all will be grateful after the election is over. I can only hope the right man wins...

Hope you have a beary great and safe Sunday!

Until we meet again; here's wishing you health, hope, happiness and just enough.

big bear hug,

Daddy Dab
